UNIGINE at SIGGRAPH 2015

UNIGINE 2 has been demonstrated during SIGGRAPH 2015 expo days in Los Angeles (August 11-13). The main demo at the booth was Space project showcasing support for extremely large scenes and new graphical features (including PBR, SSRR, TAA and a lot more). There were 14,800 attendees total from around the world at SIGGRAPH this year. A lot of visitors were surprised with the quality and performance of UNIGINE projects, especially with Oculus version of the Space / ISS demo.

Leonardo DiCaprio Donated John Gerrard’s Solar Reserve to LACMA

Leonardo DiCaprio was so impressed with "Solar Reserve", a UNIGINE-powered art installation by John Gerrard, that he bought it and granted it to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The gift is "intended to raise public awareness of environmental issues".

"Solar Reserve (Tonopah, Nevada)" is a real-time 3D digital simulation of a solar thermal power tower that offers dynamic, changing views of the Nevada site.

Cradle Game Released

Cradle, a game by the Flying Cafe for Semianimals studio and powered by UNIGINE Engine 1, has been released on Steam.

Cradle is a sci-fi first-person-view quest designed for the player to explore the surrounding world. The story is built around the relationship between the protagonist and a mechanical girl who by a quirk of fate found themselves amidst the desert.
